Terms & Conditions

All passengers who book the services of Luxe Airport Transfers acknowledge that they have read and accepted the terms and conditions as mentioned below.

Change of vehicle

Luxe Airport Transfers reserves the right to subcontract to another operator to perform the hire or to supply replacement vehicles with the same number of seats. In the event that a vehicle of differing specification is supplied, the company’s liability will be limited to the value of the specific journey within the booking. 

Breakdown or Delay

Luxe Airport Transfers may give advice on journey times in good faith, but cannot guarantee that the journey is completed by a specific time. Luxe Airport Transfers cannot accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for traffic congestion, road accidents, adverse weather conditions, compliance with requests of the police, customs or other government officials and security services, or other matters outside its reasonable control and will not be liable for any inconvenience or loss incurred caused by a breakdown or unforeseen delay be that en-route to pick up the Customer or en-route to the booking destination as a result.

It is strongly recommended that the Customer should consider insuring against this risk if journey times are particularly crucial, for example for the commencement of an event.

Tobacco, Vape or Drug Consumption

All vehicles are strictly non-smoking and vaping by law.

Non-compliance with a Driver’s request for passengers to refrain from drinking alcohol, the smoking of tobacco or consumption of illegal narcotics may result in termination of the journey, and cancellation of any other parts of a booking. In such circumstances, the Customer shall remain liable for any charges due under this service agreement, the Company shall have no liability to the Customer in the event of termination of the journey and no refunds shall be provided.

Animals

With the specific exception of recognised assistance dog (which includes guide dogs), no animals are permitted to be carried by any vehicle booked under the terms of this agreement, unless specific permission has been obtained in writing from the company within a minimum of three working days prior to the commencement of any journey.

Specific requirements for recognised assistance animals may be given to ensure safe transit of any animals for which permission is given. Failure to comply with any reasonable requirements may result in summary termination of the journey and removal of the animal from the vehicle.

Note: A recognised assistance dog is one that has been specifically trained to assist a disabled person, and meets the accredited membership criteria of Assistance Dogs International/ANZAD, or other such recognised bodies. An assistance dog trained by a member of Assistance Dogs International will have formal identification which must be provided as proof to the Company prior to booking. Weapons and dangerous items

Passengers are prohibited to carry dangerous, flammable or illegal items or goods on any part of a passenger/person or in baggage/luggage within the vehicle.

Bookings

Bookings made are based on passenger numbers and not on vehicle type, unless specifically requested. The client may receive a different configuration/combination of vehicles on the day of the charter in comparison to what was previously advised on the booking confirmation.

All bookings must be made by a person over 18 years of age.

All bookings are tentative until full contact details are provided via text, Messenger or email.

Bookings requiring pickup after 7.00pm will incur an extra charge of $20.00AUD.

All bookings will have the exact pickup time confirmed at approximately 6.00pm the night prior to travel.

Cancellations

Customers who require cancellation of their journey will need to notify Luxe Airport Transfers 24 hours prior to the  scheduled trip – or at least prior to pickup times given out to avoid penalty.  Exceptions given for genuine sickness.

Payment

Payment must be made on the day of travel, if paying via invoice this is also required to be paid on the day of issue.

Arrival for pickup

Luxe Airport Transfers will notify Customers via text when they are at the arranged pick up location and will wait for 5 minutes only. If the Customer does not arrive within this time frame, Luxe Airport Transfers reserve the right to leave without the Customer onboard for the journey. Luxe Airport Transfers will not leave the vehicle and knock on the doors.

We will not inconvenience other passengers through passenger tardiness.
